Mission

HCF is a 3-generation family foundation, founded in 2000 by John and Ann Holt. Having lived and worked in Hunterdon County for many years, they were increasingly appreciative of the many local organizations that served the community in a variety of ways. It was their hope that the Foundation would support these in their varied efforts. As the family grew, so did the Foundation, assisting groups which deal with hunger, the environment, animal care, needs of the elderly and children, culture, public safely and emergency services.
